(PADUCAH, Ky.) — The Carson Center will host its 21st Annual Distiller’s Dinner on The Carson Center Stage in downtown Paducah on October 18th at 6:30 pm, featuring Kentucky’s Jeptha Creed Distillery as this year’s spotlight distillery. The event, sponsored by Beehive Liquors, promises an evening of premium bourbon tasting, gourmet dining, and live entertainment.
Farm-to-Glass Philosophy Takes Center Stage
This year’s featured distillery, Jeptha Creed, brings a unique “ground-to-glass” approach to bourbon production. Master distiller Joyce Nethery and her family have distinguished themselves in Kentucky’s competitive bourbon landscape by returning to heirloom grain varieties that prioritize flavor over ease of cultivation.
The distillery’s signature bourbon is crafted from Bloody Butcher Corn, an heirloom varietal known for being more challenging to grow but delivering superior taste. According to the distillery, this commitment to heritage grains produces a fruit-forward, smooth, and spicy bourbon that stands apart from mainstream offerings.
“In Kentucky, bourbon may be famous for its barrels, but Jeptha Creed knows the real secret starts in the soil,” the distillery states, emphasizing their farm-based approach to spirits production.
Evening Program and Dining Experience
The dinner event will feature a gourmet meal prepared by Doe’s Eat Place, paired with Jeptha Creed’s bourbon selections. Attendees will also enjoy live musical entertainment and participate in an exclusive auction featuring rare whiskeys and unique collectible items.
The comprehensive ticket price includes dinner, beverages, entertainment, and gratuity to The Carson Center, making it an all-inclusive evening for bourbon enthusiasts and supporters of the arts venue.
