(PADUCAH, Ky.) – A lane restriction is in place on Interstate 69 southbound in Marshall County near Exit 47 (U.S. 68/Draffenville) due to ongoing mechanical brush cutting.
Crews have been working between mile markers 50 and 47 for the past three weeks. Weather permitting, work will continue on I-69 southbound this week until reaching the exit, then shift to I-69 northbound.
Motorists should be alert for signs directing traffic into the left-hand or passing lane in the work zone.
Please use caution where workers and equipment are along the roadway near traffic flow.
