Trinity Shamrocks Shut Out Marshals 3-0 in Saturday Road Match

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) – The Trinity Shamrocks dominated their home pitch Saturday afternoon, blanking the visiting Marshals soccer team 3-0.

The Shamrocks found their rhythm early and never let up, controlling the tempo throughout the match while keeping the Marshals off the scoreboard entirely.

Trinity’s offensive attack was led by senior Ben Johnson, who found the back of the net once while also contributing an assist. Sophomore Evan Woodward made his presence felt with a goal and two assists, demonstrating the balanced scoring threat that has made the Shamrocks effective this season.

Senior Camden Beard also scored for Trinity, with additional assists coming from seniors Parker Warren and Henry Merryweather, showcasing the team’s veteran leadership and depth.

The Marshals struggled to generate offensive opportunities against Trinity’s organized defense and were unable to test the Shamrocks’ goalkeeper, who recorded a clean sheet in the victory.
