Marshals Shut Out by Ballard Bruins in Derby City Clash

(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) — The Marshall County Marshals struggled to find their offensive rhythm in the first game of a doubleheader against the Ballard Bruins, falling 3-0 in Derby City action.

The Marshals faced significant challenges throughout the match, managing just two shots on goal against a stingy Ballard defense. The Bruins capitalized on their opportunities while effectively neutralizing the Marshals’ attack.

For Ballard, goals were scored by seniors Hussain Almadi, Scott Jennings, Javion Wattley. who helped anchor the Bruins’ dominant performance. Senior goalkeeper Greyson Sanders earned the shutout with two saves, keeping a clean sheet throughout the match.

The Marshals will face Trinity Saturday evening before heading back home.
