(MURRAY, Ky.) – A multi-month investigation into drug trafficking in Calloway County culminated Wednesday with the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of approximately 4 pounds of methamphetamine, officials announced.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, working alongside the DEA Paducah Post of Duty and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence on Johnson Boulevard in Murray on August 27th, 2025.
During the search, authorities recovered approximately 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 4.5 pounds of marijuana, an undisclosed quantity of cocaine, several firearms, and U.S. currency. Multiple individuals found at the residence were taken into custody in connection with the ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
The Johnson Boulevard address has a history of narcotics activity. In mid-2023, the same multi-agency team executed a federal search warrant at the residence, resulting in the federal arrest and sentencing of Gary Sims, who was the primary resident at that time.
