(BENTON, Ky.) – The Marshall County Rescue Squad is alerting residents in its service area that its recent photo fundraiser campaign has officially concluded.

Effective immediately, no authorized representatives should be visiting homes or businesses or making phone calls to request donations on behalf of the rescue squad. Residents who receive such solicitations are advised to politely decline, as these are not legitimate fundraising efforts.

“We want to make sure our community knows that our photo fundraiser is over,” said Chief Curt Curtner. “Anyone claiming to collect donations for us at this time is not working on our behalf.”

The Rescue Squad expressed gratitude for the community’s ongoing support, which enables the organization to continue providing emergency services to both residents and visitors in Marshall County.

Residents with questions or concerns about potential fraudulent solicitation can contact Chief Curt Curtner at (270) 205-8947 or via email at curt.curtner@marshallcountyky.gov. Community members may also reach out to any known rescue squad member for verification.

The Marshall County Rescue Squad continues to serve the community through its emergency response services and appreciates the public’s cooperation in this matter.
