
(MAYFIELD, Ky.) – The Marshall County Lady Marshals Soccer team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, shutting out Graves County 8-0 in an impressive road victory.
Senior Chaney Green led the offensive charge with a hat trick, finding the back of the net three times while also contributing an assist for four total points on the night. Her dominant performance helped set the tone for the Lady Marshals’ explosive attack.
The scoring was well-distributed among Marshall County players, showcasing the team’s depth and balanced offensive capabilities. Senior Addi Wall contributed two goals and an assist, while sophomore Addison Peterson added a goal and an assist of her own.
Freshman Candice Gunn made her mark with a goal and two assists, demonstrating the program’s promising young talent. Sophomore London Lockhart also found the scoresheet with a goal and an assist.
Additional goals came from junior Lily Hays and freshman Maeci Moryl, with Moryl adding an assist to her tally. Senior Rylee Teague rounded out the scoring contributions with an assist.
The victory demonstrates Marshall County’s offensive firepower and team chemistry as they continue their season. The Lady Marshals’ ability to involve multiple players in the scoring column while Savannah Dodd had one save and a clean sheet defensively highlighting both their attacking prowess and solid defensive foundation.
The Lady Marshals (4-1-1) will head to West Paducah to take on McCracken County (3-2) on Thursday night.
