Marshall County Dominates Graves County in 8-2 Soccer Victory

(MAYFIELD, Ky.) – The Marshall County Marshals boys soccer team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, defeating Graves County 8-2 in an away match that showcased the team’s offensive depth and precision.

Senior forward Houston Johnson led the explosive attack with four goals, capping off an outstanding individual performance. Junior Lincoln Colburn contributed significantly with two goals and an assist, totaling five points on the night.

The Marshals’ balanced scoring threat was evident throughout the match, with junior John Shadowen finding the back of the net twice while adding an assist. Senior Ethan Upton provided crucial playmaking with two assists to complement his single goal.

The team’s depth shone as multiple players contributed to the victory. Freshman Braxton Burnham made an immediate impact with a goal and two assists, while his teammate Braden Burnham (Sr.) and sophomore AJ Hale each added goals to the tally.

The Marshals (4-0-1) will be in district action on Thursday at McCracken County (3-1-2) at 7:30 p.m.
