(MADISONVILLE, Ky.) — Tuesday evening’s girls’ soccer matchup between the Marshall County Lady Marshals and Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons fell victim to severe weather conditions.
Persistent lightning in the area created unsafe playing conditions, leading to multiple delays before officials ultimately decided to postpone the contest entirely.
The Lady Marshals will return to action Thursday evening when they welcome the Paducah Tilghman Lady Tornado to the Colburn Soccer Complex in Draffenville for their next scheduled match.
