Shawnee Saints Baseball Announces Fall 2025 Schedule Featuring Three Former Marshals

(ULLIN, Il.) – The Shawnee Community College Saints baseball program has released its fall 2025 schedule, marking the beginning of a new era for the team in the NJCAA Division 1 ranks.

Head Coach Matthew White is in his first year as Skipper.  His Saints squad will compete in the challenging Great Rivers Athletic Conference as part of NJCAA Division 1, Region 24. The fall season serves as preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 campaign, giving fans their first look at the new roster.

“We’re excited to get on the field and show our community what this team is capable of,” said Coach White. “The fall schedule gives us valuable game experience and allows our fans to see the talent we’ve assembled for the upcoming season.”

Among the players generating early buzz are three freshmen with local ties: Maddox Cope, Matthew Henderson, and Talan Rose, all alumni of Marshall County High School. Their addition to the Saints roster has created excitement among local baseball fans eager to follow their collegiate careers.

The Saints are encouraging community support as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting season. Fans will have multiple opportunities throughout the fall to catch the team in action and get an early preview of the 2025-2026 Saints baseball program.
