Thomas R. Barrett (19) of Calvert City was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant from Fayette County District Court. Barrett faces charges including procuring a minor by electronic means, unlawful transaction with a minor in the first degree, and distribution of obscene matter to minors.
August 2, 2025
Aydan Muso (19) of Hardin was arrested following an injury collision while driving without a valid license. Muso was charged with operating without a license, failure to produce insurance, improper registration, and no registration plates. Deputies noted that Muso had received a citation the previous day for similar violations and had been advised not to drive without proper licensing and insurance.
Steven Buckman (33) of Benton was arrested on a bench warrant from Marshall Circuit Court for contempt of court.
August 4, 2025
Matthew Wiggins (47) of Gilbertsville was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
Alexander Sharp (33) of Gilbertsville was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
August 5, 2025
Stephen Flaherty (41) of Benton was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
Richard Ford (64) of Gilbertsville was served a criminal complaint warrant from Marshall District Court for violating a Kentucky emergency protective order.
Hershel Greg McKendree (51) of Hardin was arrested during a traffic stop on Murray Highway. K-9 officer Drax conducted an open-air search and alerted to the presence of illegal substances. McKendree faces charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disregarding a stop sign.
August 6, 2025
Ryan Renner (32) of Farmington voluntarily turned himself in at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office to serve a bench warrant from Marshall Circuit Court for probation violation.
August 7, 2025
Daryl Taylor (29) of Benton was arrested and served a criminal complaint warrant from Marshall County District Court for fourth-degree assault.
Jacob Walker (34) of Marion was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant from Marshall District Court, charged with fourth-degree assault and promoting contraband.
August 8, 2025
Lance Wagers (43) of Benton was arrested after being found operating a stolen vehicle on Symsonia Highway. Wagers was charged with receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000.
Rodney Campbell Jr. (36) of Benton was arrested at a residence on Cypress Road on outstanding warrants from Citrus Heights, California. Campbell was charged locally as a fugitive from justice and is wanted for multiple felony sexual offenses against children.
August 9, 2025
Charles Nelson (65) of Benton was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
Trinity Southhall (18) of Hardin was located after being involved in an ATV collision on US 68E. Southhall was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and underage possession of alcohol.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
