
(CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky.) — Three Murray residents face multiple drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop that yielded approximately two pounds of marijuana, a substantial quantity of psilocybin mushrooms, and other drug-related evidence.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office conducted the traffic stop on Highway 94 West at approximately 5:15 p.m. on August 10, 2025. During the subsequent investigation, deputies discovered the controlled substances along with items consistent with drug trafficking activities and a large amount of cash.
Arrests and Charges
Aaron C. Ennis Sr., 52, of Murray faces the following charges:
- Trafficking in Marijuana (8 oz to less than 5 lbs), 1st Offense (Class D Felony)
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, 1st Offense – Less than 10 dosage units of Hallucinogen (Class D Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
James M. Swindle, 21, of Murray was charged with:
- Trafficking in Marijuana (8 oz to less than 5 lbs), 1st Offense (Class D Felony)
- Possession of Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, 1st Offense – Hallucinogen
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lillian R. Waynick, 20, of Murray faces:
- Trafficking in Marijuana (8 oz to less than 5 lbs), 1st Offense (Class D Felony)
- Possession of Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, 1st Offense – Hallucinogen
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Various traffic-related charges
