Curtis Clayton Warner, 67 of Murray, KY, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home.
Born October 22, 1957, in Elkhart, IN, Curtis was the son of the late Vernon Harry Warner and Rose Marie (Murabito) Warner-Sebert. He spent many years on the road as a self-employed owner-operator for Warner Trucking leasing his truck to Mercer Transportation Company. Before beginning his trucking career, he retired from General Tire, Inc., as a tuber on the radial tire line.
Curtis was of Church of Christ faith. Those left to cherish memories of Curtis include his loving wife of 49 years, Lita (Housden) Warner; his daughter, Lisa Ann Lamb and husband Rick, of Murray; and his son Terry C. Warner and wife Robin of Murray. He was a proud grandfather to Katherine Herndon of Murray, J.W. Lamb of Cuba, KY, Garrett Lamb of Murray, Jacob Robert Warner of Clearwater, FL, Alivia Marie Warner, Timothy Gerald Sheridan, and Shalyn Brooke Cashion, all of Murray and 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Virgil (Phyllis) Warner of Aurora, Sam Warner of Murray, Judith Denno of Niles, MI, Sandy Warner of Mishawaka, IN and David Warner of Muncie, IN; and brother-in-law, Al Syrette of Buchanan, MI; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Syrette; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Warner; and brother-in-law, Jim Denno.
A funeral service celebrating Curtis’ life will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, with John Dale officiating. Entombment will follow at the Murray Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th St. Murray, KY 42071.
