(BENTON, Ky.) – FNB has presented Marshall County Schools with a $1,500 donation generated through the bank’s innovative Spirit Debit Card Program during the second quarter of 2025.
The Spirit Debit Card Program transforms everyday banking transactions into educational support. Each time customers use their FNB Spirit debit card for signature-based purchases, the bank contributes 10 cents to their chosen school district.
“This program demonstrates how simple daily actions can create meaningful impact,” said Brooke Wiles, FNB’s Marketing Director. “Our customers take pride in supporting local education through their routine purchases. These contributions provide schools with additional resources that directly benefit students and staff throughout our community.”
The program currently supports four regional school systems: Mayfield, Graves County, Trigg County, and Marshall County Schools. Card holders enjoy the convenience of standard debit card functionality while automatically generating donations through signature-based transactions – those completed without entering a PIN.
FNB handles all administrative aspects of the program, tracking transactions and delivering quarterly donations to participating schools. Educational institutions maintain full discretion over how to utilize the contributed funds.
The program’s success continues to grow, with FNB contributing more than $85,000 to area schools throughout 2024. Community members interested in participating can visit any FNB location or explore program details at www.GrowWithFNB.com.
