(SMITHLAND, Ky.) (July 31, 2025) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 troopers and detectives are currently conducting a death investigation near North Livingston Elementary School.
KSP Post 1 was notified just after 1:00pm CT of a deceased male who had been located in a grassy area near North Livingston Elementary school. The deceased is not a school employee or student. His identity will be withheld until next of kin can be notified. Circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation. An autopsy will be performed on August 1.
No additional information will be released at this time. Further details will be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
