(CALVERT CITY, Ky.) — A man died Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash near industrial facilities in Calvert City, according to authorities.
The fatal accident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Gilbertsville Highway, east of the area’s industrial plants. Marshall County Coroner Kenny Pratt confirmed the death.
Pratt said the victim was male and that an autopsy has been scheduled for Saturday. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
The intersection remained closed for approximately two hours while investigators examined the scene.
