Local players competed in several MLP-style pickleball tournaments in June.  Major League Pickleball (MLP)-style tournaments bring a team-based format to the sport.  Instead of traditional individual or doubles play, MLP tournaments feature teams of two men and two women competing in a series of matches–women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles–followed by a singles tiebreaker if needed. The teams compete in divisions based on their individual DUPR rankings added together.
