Paducah Man Arrested After Greyhound Bus Station Shooting 

(PADUCAH, Ky)-Paducah Police detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon at the Greyhound Bus Station on Irvin Cobb Drive.
Officers were called to 2719 Irvin Cobb Drive around 4:15 PM after a man called 911, reporting he had been shot in the stomach by another man. Simultaneously, Officer Brooke Adams was pulling into the parking lot of the bus station to investigate a separate incident. Officer Adams observed the suspect fire one round and ordered him to drop the gun. The suspect complied with her commands and was immediately taken into custody. The man was later identified as 47-year-old John Bryan of Paducah. Additional officers arrived on the scene and immediately provided first aid to the victim.
Detectives determined Bryan fired a total of six shots, with one of them striking the victim in the abdomen. The victim was transferred to an out-of-state hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
Bryan was arrested and charged with Assault in the First Degree and Wanton Endangerment in the First Degree. He’s currently being held at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
