Ronda Lee Burks, 63, of Murray, KY passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at her residence in Murray, KY, Mrs. Burks was a homemaker where she loved to keep kids and loved to sew. She enjoyed all crafts and making clothes for the kids and grandkids. She was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother Ronnie and Kitty Cope; her borrowed mom: Evalyn (Cope) Starks; one daughter: Amerie Burks; and one brother: Mark Cope.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years: Kenneth Burks of Murray, KY; her mother: Bonnie (Sams) Lilley of Taylor, MI; her borrowed dad: Kenneth Starks of Rockdale, TX; her fur baby (favorite) Brayden Burks; one son: Logan Burks (Rachel) of Murray, KY; three daughters: Nakiah Burks (Cecil) of Nashville, TN, Rakeshia Burks (Brandon) of Ayden, NC, and Cheriah Burks (Clyde) of Murray, KY; three brothers: Larry Cope of Murray, KY, Jamie Goins of Westland, MI, and Steve Darnell of Benton, KY; six sisters: Daria Lynn Koym of Benton, KY, Lomanda Jene Henderson of Benton, KY, Kimberly Dawnn Paul of Rockdale, TX, Rachel Roza of Taylor, MI, Linda Travis of Benton, KY and Carolya Darnall of Benton, KY; five grandchildren: Everlee Burks, Shelby Harrison, Lane Parker, Cecil Buchanan Jr. and Romee Burks; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY with Seth Grogan officiating. Burial will follow at Haymes Cemetery, Visitation will be held between the hours of 5-8 PM Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
