McCracken County Man Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges

A McCracken County man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple drug and firearm-related offenses following the execution of a search warrant at his residence.

On April 30, 2025, shortly before noon, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence located at 5601 Old Mayfield Road as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

David Perdue, 53, a resident of the home, was present during the execution of the warrant. During the search, detectives recovered quantities of marijuana, cocaine, various items of drug paraphernalia, and three firearms found near the narcotics.

Additionally, a large garage on the property was found to house a synthetic drug laboratory, where synthetic marijuana was being manufactured. Detectives seized several pounds of synthetic drugs from the location.

The Hendron Fire Department assisted on scene during the operation.

David Perdue was taken into custody and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
