Yvetta Murray, age 82, of Eddyville, KY passed away around 7:00 AM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at her home surrounded with loved ones.
Yvetta worked for HIS Clothing Company as a Machine Operator. She also worked for Roper Pecan Company for several years. She was a member of David’s Chapel in Hickman, KY.
She is survived by two daughters, Twona Reed (Stephen) of Eddyville and Liz Ray (Eugene) of Hendersonville, TN; a sister Venessia Gaskins (Llyod) of Fulton, KY; two grandsons, Doug Love (Andrea), and Terry James Love (Cayce) of Hickman, KY; seven great-grandchildren, Courtney Love of CA, Tyler Love (Tiffanie), MacKenzie Love, Peyton Love, Jackson Carlton, Prather Carlton, Jo Anne Carlton of Hickman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Murray; parents, Jewel and Dorothy Watts Garrigus, two brothers, Raymond Jewel Garrigus, Carl Edmond Garrigus.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on March 2, 2025 at the Hickman City Cemetery. Long-time friends, Johnny May and wife Ann will proceed over the service.
