Christy Lea Williams, 44, of Grand Rivers, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at her place of residence.
Christy was born on May 6, 1980, in Columbus, Georgia, to Mike Berklite and Linnie McCallister. As a dedicated homemaker, Christy poured her heart into creating a loving and nurturing environment for her family. She found joy and fulfillment in supporting her children’s endeavors, especially their sporting events, which she attended with unwavering enthusiasm. Christy’s kindness extended to all, earning her a reputation as someone who never met a stranger. She loved animals, large and small. Her creative soul was expressed through her hobbies; she captured life’s moments through photography and wove threads of love into every piece she created with her sewing skills.
Christy is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gaylon Williams of Grand Rivers; one daughter, Natalea Williams of Grand Rivers; one son, Trae Williams of Grand Rivers;two brothers, Michael Berklite (Crystal) of Smith Station, Alabama and Richard Berklite (Tricia) of Waverly Hall, Georgia; and her parents, Mike Berklite of Columbus, Georgia and Linnie McCallister of Pheonix City, Alabama.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann.
