On 02/24/2025 at 0134 hours, Deputy Andrew Prusaczyk conducted a traffic stop on S. Friendship Rd. on a yellow 2015 Kia passenger car for an equipment violation.
During the investigation, the driver was identified as Kori E. Lane. The passenger, later identified as Donte M. Thompson, provided false identifying information during the traffic stop.
A further investigation revealed Donte M. Thompson had multiple felony warrants issued to him for his arrest.
Deputies executed a search warrant on Kori E. Lane’s residence in the Lone Oak area. During the execution of the search warrant, Kori E. Lane was found inside of the residence and denied Donte M. Thompson being inside of it. Deputies located Donte M. Thompson inside of the residence and hiding in a room.
Both Kori E. Lane and Donte M. Thompson were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where they were lodged.
