Mike M. Stewart, aged 73, passed away on February 14, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center while surrounded by his loved ones.

Mike was Born on February 18, 1952, in Clinton, Kentucky, to the late Dorris and Zora Stewart. Retiring after a dedicated 30-year tenure at General Tire, Mike was not one to sit still. His passion for the great outdoors was evident to all who knew him, happily spending countless hours fishing, hunting, target shooting, and riding his Jeep through nature’s wonders. Camping trips were cherished times, as was simply swinging lazily in his backyard swing.

Mike’s love for his puppies, his inherent ability to fix anything that was broken, and his mischievous, spunky demeanor earned him the affectionate title of ‘Mr. Fix It.’ He relished in good-naturedly agitating friends and family, his onery spark leaving a trail of smiles and laughter wherever he went.

Mike is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Riley Stewart; three children, Heath Stewart of Arlington, Kim Fry (Dee) of Arlington, and Jason Stewart (Casey) of Clinton; five grandchildren, Shelby Stewart (Elizabeth) Ian Fry (Hannah) Mackenzie Fry, Gabriel Dowdy and Greyson Stewart; one great-granddaughter, Campbell Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ladonna Kay Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Glenn Stewart Officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
