
Friday at Reed Conder Gymnasium, the Lady Marshals earned a Homecoming win over Paducah Tilghman to improve to 15-5 on the season.
Led by senior Skylar Waller who scored 23 points and hit five 3-pointers, the Lady Marshals beat the Blue Tornado 64-32.
Free throws by Myiesha Smith to open the game for Paducah Tilghman would be their only lead of the night. The Lady Marshals went on to outscore them 25-2 to finish out the first quarter. Six different players contributed in the quarter, led by Kenzlee Terry with seven points and Waller with five.
Smith, who led Paducah Tilghman with 11 points, scored the first basket of the second quarter but the Blue Tornado couldn’t contain Waller who put up 13 points including three 3-pointers which helped push the halftime lead to 44-14.

Addi Wall scored the first basket of the second half on an assist from Laken Schroader. That was followed up by Waller’s fifth 3-pointer and two points from Kenzlee Terry which set into motion a running clock with a 35-point lead.
A 3-pointer by Rylee Teague that just beat the buzzer gave the Lady Marshals a 59-26 lead to end the third quarter.
In a quick fourth quarter, Wall scored four of the Lady Marshals five points in the 64-32 win.
The Lady Marshals hit seven 3-pointers in the game led by Waller with five. As a team, they were 10-of-17 at the free throw line. Paducah Tilghman hit three 3-pointers and at the line hit 7-of-8.
Saturday they will host McCracken County, a team they beat 65-42 earlier this season.
