He was the former owner of Jeannette’s Florist in Mayfield, KY and Rhew-Hendley Florist in Paducah, KY.
Mr. Hendley is survived by one sister, Ann (Robert) McClain of Sedalia, KY and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Margaret Cook; one brother, Joe Hendley; one nephew, Chris McClain; and his parents, W.P. Sr. and Inez Thomas Hendley.
Funeral services for Mr. W.P. “Dub” Hendley, Jr. will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Mykel Tidwell will officiate. Interment will follow at Lebanon Church of Christ Cemetery.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.
Pallbearers will be Dan Hunt, Hal Nance, Ricky Hendley, Taylor Hendley, Hayden Hendley and Payton McClain.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the funeral home.
