Calvert City, KY (December 16, 2024) – On December 08, 2024 officers responded to a call in reference to a man passed out in his vehicle in the Food Giant parking lot. Officers were able to wake the subject up. When they made contact with him, they could detect the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. The subject admitted to drinking and advised that he would be well over the legal limit. Chad Powell, 52, of Calvert City was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place.On December 09, 2024 officers responded to a call about illegal camping near the TVA river access road. Upon making contact with the subjects, it was determined that one of them had an active warrant. Jay Harrison, 22, of Paducah was arrested on a McCracken County Warrant for failure to appear.
On December 15, 2024 officers received a call from McCracken County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a subject with an active warrant at a residence in Calvert City. Officers responded to the location and located the subject. James R. York, 26, of Calvert City was arrested on a McCracken County Warrant for failure to appear.
