Major Billy J.T. Osburn, 93, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mr. Osburn was born on October 21, 1931 in Houston County, TN to the late Jerry and Willie Mathis Osburn. He graduated from Redford High School in Detroit, MI in 1950 and proceeded to serve and retire after 20 years from the United States Air Force as a Navigator.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eugene Osburn and Neal H. Osburn.
Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mrs. Ann Osburn of Murray; a son, Jim Osburn (Trina) of Murray and two grandchildren, Ellie and Emerson Vaughn.
The funeral service honoring the life of Mr. Billy Osburn is set for 12 pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Bro. Andy Harrell will officiate and burial with military honors will follow at KY Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.
His family welcomes visitors from 11 am until 12 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
