Mr. Ricky L. Parrish, 69 of Hazel, KY, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital, Murray, KY.
Born September 26, 1955, in Murray, KY, Ricky was the son of the late Charles Hardin Parrish and Bessie G. Phillips Parrish. He was a retired bus driver for the Calloway County Schools.
Those left to cherish Ricky’s memory are his partner Valerie Fox of Hazel; brothers Charles (Kelly) Parrish of Buchanan, TN and Roger Parrish of Murray; sisters Carol Balentine of Dexter and Patricia (James) Morrison of Murray; and two grandchildren, Gregory Wilson and Caitlyn Sorrell of Paducah. Ricky will also be dearly missed by his special pets, Lil’ Charlie and Baby Girl.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Parrish and a sister, Janice McLean.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the chapel of Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, KY, with Bro. Mike White and Bro. David Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Hicks Cemetery in Murray. Friends may visit with the family after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
