
Cindy Lineice Howle, aged 71, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024 after a 3-year battle with breast cancer, at her residence in Groveland, FL. Born November 16, 1953, in Paducah, KY, to the late Lucian & Hilda Davis Howle. Cindy was a person of remarkable spirit and was blessed with many talents.
Cindy proudly served her country as a member of the US Army. After serving in the Army, Cindy had a 19-year career working for Southern Bell Telephone Company. When she retired from Southern Bell, she started her own construction company and developed the Odessa Springs Subdivision in Paducah. At the same time, she became co-owner of Connecting Point Computer Center. After many successful years in the construction and computer business she decided to retire and move to Florida. Cindy got her Real Estate license in Florida and had a very successful career right up until her death.
When Cindy wasn’t working, she enjoyed traveling in her motorhome with Pam and her 2 fur babies.
Those who knew Cindy will remember her for her outgoing personality, ambitious drive to do new things, her passion for life, and love for her family and friends. Her legacy of service, both in uniform and in her civilian life, will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cindy’s presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will remain a guiding light to many.
She is survived by her companion, Pam Easton of Groveland, FL; a sister, Lacretia Burrell of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Gene (Darlene) Howle of Paducah; two half-sisters, Brenda Hazzard and Lecia Verwers; nine nieces and nephews, Kim Braboy, William (Carol) Burrell, Joe Lawrence, Kevin Burrell, Karah Braboy, Robbie Lawrence, Justin Wilks, Paul (Rhonda) Scoggin, and Charla Joy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lucian Howle; her mother, Hilda Davis Scoggin; her step-father, S.W. Scoggin; her step-mother, Mae Howle; a half-brother, Johnny Howle; a half-sister, Jennifer Ingram; her brother-in-law, Bill Burrell; two nephews, Scott Howle and Robbin Braboy and a niece, Renee Lawrence.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home Lone Oak Chapel with Ricky Keeling officiating. Burial will follow at the Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home Lone Oak Chapel.
