Mr. Glen E. Beane, age 85, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his residence.
He was of the Baptist faith, an avid UK Basketball fan and a retired employee of General Tire.
Mr. Beane is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara Ann Guthrie Beane; one son, Terry Don (Kathy Ann) Beane of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Shanna (Toby) Beane-Jones; two grandchildren, Brittany Bladon and Matthew Beane; and two great grandchildren, Dalton Bladon and Mason Bladon.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Willie B. Beane, Buell Beane, Lloyd Beane, Halford Beane and James Harold Beane; four sisters, Modell Thweat, Lydia Woods, Verline Joseph and Linda Faye Wilkerson; and his parents, Dempsey and Bessie Bazzell Beane.
Graveside services for Mr. Glen E. Beane will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Highland Park Cemetery. Rev. Steve Cavitt will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Mark Beane, Toby Jones, Matthew Beane, Darel Miller, Delmer Smith and Mike Kelley.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
