Jerry Wayne Johnson, age 75, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
Jerry was born in Clinton, Kentucky, on January 19, 1949, to the late Otis and Lillie Mae Johnson. His journey through life was marked by a contagiously warm spirit and an innate ability to bring joy to those around him through his musical talents. Jerry’s passion for playing the piano showed every service at Beulah Baptist Church, where he served many years as the pianist.
Jerry is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Martha Jane Grubbs, JoAnne Allison, and Shirley Wilson; and two brothers, Bobby Johnson and Clyde Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Kody Hopwood officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service hour of 12:00 pm on November 1, 2024, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
