Jennie Lee Cardwell Hill, 80, of Benton, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at her home.
Jennie was born in Morgantown, Kentucky on December 3, 1943 to Elsie and Lillie Cardwell. She worked as a teamster for the local union 236. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening and traveling.
Jennie is survived by her husband of 26 years, Eddie Hill, of Benton; two sons, Steven W. Thomas of Benton and Victor Thomas of Benton; and three grandchildren, Jacqueline Thomas, Teri Thomas, and Jonathan Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home in Benton.
A short eulogy will be read at 3:00 PM by Bro. Trevor Crocker.
