Lucille Wagner, 91

Lucille Wagner died peacefully at home on October 12, 2024.

She was born in Benton, KY on November 11, 1932 to Vena and Floyd Dyke. She married Clayton Wagner in 1953. Lucille was the bookkeeper at Wagner Moving & Storage for over 25 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church since 1962. Lucille enjoyed entertaining, playing bridge and bowling. She was named the Ladies’ Paducah City Bowling champion in 1967-8. She will be remembered as a beautiful, outgoing lady who loved her family and had a wonderful sense of humor.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Buna, Ethel and twin sister, Louise, her brother, John, her husband, Clayton, and her son, Russell (Julie). She is survived by her son, Bob (Jill), four grandchildren: Jackie Long, Ryan Wagner, Ross Wagner and Rachel Gilland, and nine great-grandchildren.

Her family wishes to express their deep gratitude to her loving caregivers, the compassionate nurses and aides at Mercy Health Hospice and Rev. Katie McKown.

A private celebration of life is planned.
