Jerry Dean Whitehair, 51 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky died on Friday, October 11, 2024, near his home in Gilbertsville, Kentucky.
Born Monday, April 16, 1973 in Paducah, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Whitehair and Wanda Reynolds. He was a towboat captain for the Hines Furlong Line in Paducah, KY. Jerry was very quick to help anyone in need and enjoyed life to the fullest. Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly.
Surviving are his mother; sons, Christopher Whitehair of Marion, KY and Matthew Whitehair of Marion, KY, daughter, Jessica Jones of Kevil, KY, sister, Stacy Carrington of Gilbertsville, KY, and 5 grandchildren.
He ws preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
