Mrs. Donna Lee Woods, 83, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.
Mrs. Woods was born to Irvin and Ann Geiger Richie on March 18, 1941 in Lapeer, MI. Donna served passionately as a Regular Pioneer Missionary for over 40 years. She made it her life’s mission to share the gospel. She also provided care to expectant mothers as a midwife and she loved to garden. Donna was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Woods; a brother, Tim Richie and a sister, Ruthie.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 65 years, Mr. Gerald Woods of Murray; two daughters, Rachel Stockwell of Almo, KY, Jennie Babcock (Tim) of Arkansas; three brothers, Gordan Richie (Delberta) of Michigan, Dison Richie of Michigan, Richard Richie (Cathy) of Michigan; two sisters, Judy Heath of Florida, Evone Bosch of Colorado; six grandchildren, Christopher and Michelle Drapanski, Amanda Hess, Jamie Pflug, Keegan Stockwell, Emily (Nim) Stockwell and two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Hadley.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1052 KY-121, Murray, KY 42071. A meal will be served to family and friends following the memorial service and it will be held at Woodmen Life, North 4th Street in Murray.
