Paul Michael Darnell, 75 of Benton passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at his home.
Paul Michael was born in Murray, Kentucky on April 15, 1949 to the late Louise Smith Darnall. He proudly served in the United States Army and was an iron worker and member of Local 782. Paul Michael enjoyed farming in his free time. He raised cattle and hay, as well as row cropped for a short time. Paul Michael was an also an outdoorsman, who would often go bird hunting or fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice Faircloth Darnell; one daughter, Kim Puckett and husband, Jeff of Kirksey; one brother, Mark Darnall and wife, Tresia of Benton; two sisters, Nethia Faircloth of Hardin and Loretta Frizzell and husband, Charlie of Benton; two grandchildren, JohnMichael Puckett (Emily) of Benton and Kaitlynn Cowsert (Jason) of Hoopeston, IL; two great-grandchildren, Isla Cowsert and Amos Puckett.
He was preceded in death by his mother; two sisters, Joann Price and Eutonia Frizzell.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 with military rites to be held at 6:00 PM, at Collier Funeral Chapel, 211 West 5th St., Benton, Kentucky 42025.
