Glenda Jean Gustafson Williams, 65 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at her residence.
Glenda was born in Paxton, Illinois on August 9, 1959. She worked as a teacher’s aide in the school system. Glenda enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time on the Kentucky Lake. She adored her dog Birdie who never left her side. Glenda and her husband resided in Paxton, Illinois until they retired. They enjoyed riding their motorcycle and spending summer months at KY Lake and winter months in Florida. Glenda was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Fred Williams of Gilbertsville; one daughter, Holly Reitz of Paxton, IL; her parents, Dale and Norma Gustafson of Gilbertsville; one brother, Gary Gustafson and wife, Debbie of Gilbertsville; two grandchildren, Austyn Pleitgen and Gracie Pleitgen.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 in memory of Glenda.
A private family service will take place.
