She was a member of New Home Baptist Church and a retired employee of Mattel.
Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by her son, Rodney Scarbrough of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Richard (Lillian) Short of Mayfield, KY; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Scarbrough; one sister, Betty Short; and her parents, Joe B. and Letha Haley Short.
Graveside services for Mrs. Freda Scarbrough will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Hollan Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
