Edwin Allen Dobbs died unexpectedly, Sunday morning September 1, 2024 at 6:30 am at his home in Paducah, KY, at the age of 44.
Edwin was born in Moberly, MO on August 21, 1980. He is survived by his dad and step-mom, Richard and Sue Dobbs, brother, Rick Dobbs (Stacy), sister, Jodi Dobbs, two nephews, Tyler Dobbs, Peyton Dobbs, and niece Katelyn Dobbs, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He attended Reidland High School. He was known as a dedicated, hard worker. He was a member of Oaks Church of God where his dad was pastor. He loved music, to grow earthworms, loved researching on the internet and was quite knowledgeable, loved animals.
In recent years until the time of his death, Edwin had been faced with many serious medical problems and was facing a very serious surgery and was awaiting a call from the doctor for the date. But God had other plans! No more suffering or pain.
Edwin will be remembered by his dear family and friends as a very loving, kind, compassionate person and his excessive use of “I’m sorry!” He will be missed!
Edwin was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Neithering, grandparents, Buford and Virginia Dobbs, Bud and Betty Baughman, and his beloved dog, Buddy, as well as several relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Milner and Orr Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
