
In games this week against district opponents Graves County and Calloway County, the Marshals earned a split after picking up a 5-0 win over the Eagles before dropping a 1-0 game against the Lakers.
In the 5-0 shutout over Graves County, the Marshals were led by sophomore Maddox Konrad with two goals. A goal each was scored by Houston Johnson, Colton Snyder and Tommy Robertson. Assists on goals went to Johnson with one and Isaac Reynolds recorded two. Goalkeeper Carson Lovett had two saves to earn the shutout.
Calloway County’s Zak Stark scored the lone goal for the Lakers to top the Marshals 1-0 on Thursday. Goalkeeper Hunter Williams had three saves.
Marshall County (3-2) will head to Bowling Green (3-0) on Saturday for an 11:30 a.m. game.
