Mr. James R. Yokley, age 80, of Mayfield passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He was a retired employee of Chrysler.
Mr. Yokley is survived by one son, Scott (Patricia) Yokely of Wingo, KY; two daughters, Lisa (Drew) Johnson of Indianapolis, IN and Penny (Rick) Simmerman of Bedford, IN; one sister, Vicky (Gary) Williams of Beech Grove, IN; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Stone Yokley; one sister, JoAnn Taylor; and his parents, William and Edith Rush Yokley.
Funeral services for Mr. James R. Yokley will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Marcus McClure will officiate. Interment will follow at Water Valley Pentecostal Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dwaine Arnett, Ricky Arnett, Donnie Arnett, Rick Simmerman, James S. Yokley, Drew Johnson and Pete Stone.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
