
On July 30, 2024 an officer was patrolling the area of Kennedy Avenue and noticed a vehicle at a business after it was closed. The officer ran the plate and it came back to a subject with a suspension for DUI 1st offense. The officer initiated a traffic stop. After further investigation, Tyler J. Kirk, 22, of Grand Rivers was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 2nd offense. He was also charged with driving on a DUI suspended license 1st offense, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 31, 2024 an officer made contact with a subject who had 2 McCracken County Warrants. William R. Taylor, 27, of Eddyville was arrested on the 2 warrants for probation violation (for felony offense).
On August 03, 2024 an officer responded to an address on Gilbertsville Highway in reference to a subject who had been trespassed from the property. The subject was found hiding in a camper on the property. Quintion A. Mouser, 20, of Gilbertsville was arrested for criminal trespassing 3rd degree.
On August 06, 2024 an officer made a traffic stop on a pickup truck and towed the truck for an insurance violation. A female in the truck refused to identify herself. Upon further investigation, the officer identified the female and discovered she had a warrant. Brandi N. McDonald, 37, of Grand Rivers was arrested on a Livingston County Warrant for failure to appear. Upon her arrest, she admitted to having drugs and paraphernalia upon her person. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd offense (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree – drug unspecified, prescription-controlled substance not in a proper container 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Calvert City Police Department was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
On August 09, 2024 while on patrol of businesses an officer observed a vehicle parked between the mini storage units on Highway 62 late at night. When the officer went to make contact, the vehicle came around the corner and stopped by the officer. Both subjects in the vehicle seemed extremely nervous and sweaty. The passenger claimed to have been getting some items from a storage unit. After further investigation, both subjects were arrested. William D. Dixon, 46, of Shepherdsville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine). He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a legend drug, giving an officer false identifying information, and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license. Todd Allen Dooley, 40, of Louisville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine). He was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Calvert City Police Department was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
