
Marshall County competed in three tournaments last week, starting on Monday at the Hopkinsville Invitational at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. The Marshals finished tied for second with Madisonville-North Hopkins with a team score of 308. McCracken County took the win with 305.
Ryan Stokes shot a 2-over par 73 to lead the Marshals in scoring. Paxton Carter shot 76, Brooks Lamb 77, Nolan Hurst 82 and Anderson Jones 88.
Wednesday, the Marshals played in the Muhlenberg County Invitational at Central City Country Club. Brooks Lamb and Anderson Jones each shot 78 to lead the team, Kyzer Phillips finished with 84, Dawson Hicks 85 and Nolan Hurst 86.
The Marshals finished with a team score of 325. Owensboro won the tournament with a score of 305.
In their final tournament of the week on Thursday, the Marshals placed second in the Madisonville-North Hopkins Invitational at Lakeshore Country Club. Their team score of 299 was the lowest of the season so far.
Ryan Stokes paced the Marshals with a 2-under par round of 70. Anderson Jones carded a 75, Paxton Carter shot 76, Brooks Lamb 78 and Nolan Hurst 86.
Three tournaments this week start today at Bowling Green Country Club in the Gator Invitational. Thursday the Marshals play a match against Paducah Tilghman at Paxton Park Golf Course and they will be back at Paxton Park on Saturday in the Paducah Tilghman Invitational.
