Mr. Steve Douglas White, age 75, of Hazel, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. White was born on November 9, 1948, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Robert Clifford White and Elna Elizabeth (Hutson) White. He was a retired truck driver and lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Herman Eddie Roberts Jr. Post #6291of Murray, Kentucky. Mr. White was a Vietnam Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Griselda Adams; as well as one brother, Tom White.
Survivors include his wife, Carla Gail White of Hazel, Kentucky; two daughters, Candy Franklin and husband Tim of Mayfield, Kentucky and Misti Miller of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Michael Mason of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kelby Miller, Lauryn Miller, and Cody Mason; as well as his grand dog, Frankie Franklin.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Jared Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
