
He attended Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church. He was a 25 year employee of Tokai Carbon and an avid woodworker and furniture maker.
Mr. Gorski is survived by his wife, Marla Smith Gorski; his mother, Geri Wichert Hinson of Murray, KY; two sons, Matthew Gorski of Martin, TN and Brian Smith of Southfield, MI; three daughters, Deanna (Kyle) Stevens of Union City, TN, Christina (Austin) Crafton of Union City, TN and Lee (Logan Waggoner) Smith of Farmington, KY; one brother, Tommy Gorski of Chicago, IL; one sister, Julie Gorski of Chicago, IL; and seven grandchildren, Benjamin Stevens, Blayton Crafton, Britt Smith, Emberly Crafton, Alison Smith-Pritchard, Evangeline Smith and Eliza Smith.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Scott Gorski and David Shehorn; one sister, Stephanie Gorski; and his father, Steve Gorski.
Funeral services for Mr. Stephan “Steve” Gorski will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Keith Allred and Rev. Ben Stratton will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Stevens, Austin Crafton, Matt Gorski, Logan Waggoner, Brian Smith and all the many friends at Tokai Carbon.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the funeral home.
