Novilee Stubblefield, age 96, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully, on July 14, 2024 at her home with her daughter by her side.
Novilee was born on February 15, 1928, in Benton, Kentucky, to the late Joe and Allie Hunt. She was retired from the McCracken County Court House and was a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. Novilee found joy in her fur baby “Scooter”, who was not only a pet but a treasured companion who brought her comfort and joy. She had a special bond with Bobbi Sue Tucker. Novilee considered Bobbi a member of her family and her angel on Earth.
Novilee is survived by her daughter, Cathy James (Noel White) of Paducah, Kentucky; granddaughter, Jennifer Britt (JC) of Ledbetter ; five great-grandchildren, Bailey Mayhugh, Steve Mayhugh, Carlee Puckett, Briar Moffitt, and Eden Britt; and two great-great-grandchildren,Robert and Emberlynn Moffitt.
She was proceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert Stubblefield; one brother, Arlie Hunt; two sisters, Lorene Hancock and Vera Powell; one grandson, Robert Lynn Mayhugh; and one great-grandson, Maddox Britt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Bro. Danny Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service time of 1:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
