Mr. James Darrell Fristoe, age 78, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Countryside Center of Nursing & Rehabilitation in Bardwell, Kentucky.
He was born on March 25, 1946, to the late James B. and Alice Robinson Fristoe in Decatur, Illinois where he graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 1964. He studied Engineering at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and was a United States Navy Veteran. He was of the Christian faith, enjoyed bowling, singing the gospel, and loved watching the University of Kentucky basketball and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.
He is survived by two daughters, Shelly (Richard) Parrish of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kimberly Sullivan of Mayfield, Kentucky; one son, Christopher (Melanie) Fristoe of Paducah; two stepsons, Robert (Laura) Fristoe of Paducah and Jaymee Landon Hood Armani of Nashville, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Brook Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
