Rex Alan Holmes, 59, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at his home in Paducah. Rex was a known song writer and guitar player who also loved spending time with his many grandchildren.
Rex is survived by his mother, Patricia Holmes of Paducah; four children, Randall Holmes of Paducah, Ryan (Stormy) Holmes of Paducah, Allison ( Bryan) Salyers of Paducah, and Hunter Holmes of Paducah; three brothers, Michael Homes of Florida, David Holmes of Oklahoma, and Philip Holmes of Paducah; ex-wife, Cynthia Holmes of Paducah; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Holmes; and one sister, Cheryl Elder.
