Eddie Hunt, age 89, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 2:46 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Eddie was born on September 29, 1934, to the late Authur and Edna Hunt. He was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and a retired fireman with the City of Paducah. Eddie was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed tractors and boats. Eddie and Shirley became snowbirds for the past few years spending winter months in Florida.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Shirley Rollins Hunt; one daughter, Karen Hunt of Sarasota, Florida; one son, Kenny (Jennifer) Hunt of Paducah; and one sister, Rosemary Kloss of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Preceding in death were his parents; two sisters, Joyce Fredrick and Beverly Walker.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 At Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Jennifer Hunt officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army.
There will be no public visitation.
